Piebald – American Hearts from We Are The Only Friends We Have, 2000 — this qualifies as a Classic Number!
-Formed in Andover in 1994, the band made their way into the Boston music scene. With record titles like “
If It Weren’t for Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains for Us All,” “Sometimes Friends Fight,” and “When Life Hands You Lemons,”  Piebald are celebrated as one of the city’s best “post-hardcore” bands. The band released We Are the Only Friends We Have that featured the single “American Hearts” that shot them into the national stratosphere getting attention by MTV and college radio. They signed to indie label Big Wheel Recreation then Side One Dummy label and did the 2004 Warped Tour. They disbanded in in 2007 and did a string of farewell shows the following year. Piebald have since done a series of reunions shows and tours–most recently playing Chicago’s RiotFest in September 2018.
